Having completed his studies in the US, Ronaldo Mendonça’s ambitions found their first expression when he joined Jonros Coffee Brokers as a young trader in 1983.
His skills were soon noticed by Brazil’s largest brokerage house, Barletta e Brambilla Corretores, who a year later, lured him to join their firm, where he rapidly rose to become a partner, with BBM Corretora.
Ronaldo had set his sights higher still: to create his own brokerage and provide a fully customized approach to the coffee market. Sector Commodities was launched in 1986 with this key objective in mind.
By the early-nineties, with Sector a flourishing enterprise, he launched Brazil's first gourmet shop Café Amadeus.
Ronaldo’s interests expanded into the world of music and film, these being a lifelong passion since his university days in California, as a cinematography major.
Today, Ronaldo is a patron to a new wave of Brazilian performance artists, DJs & singers. |
